IT Senior Software Developer

Job Description

Stanford University is looking for an experienced, highly motivated IT Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. We seek an individual with excellent technical and communication skills who will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications for our internal and external clients. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for technology and an eye for innovation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably with experience in web and mobile development. They should be comfortable working independently, as well as in a team environment. The successful candidate must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and be able to effectively manage time and competing priorities. In addition, the successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and have a thorough understanding of software design and development principles. Knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and JQuery is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
