IT Data Analytics Engineer Intern I

Job Description

Join Dexcom’s IT Data & Analytics team to build data pipelines, learn tools like Fivetran, dbt, and BigQuery, and contribute to real-world cloud analytics projects.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:
• Participate in projects designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines for data collection, storage, and processing.
• Learn and work with Dexcom’s D&A technology stack including Fivetran, dbt, and Google BigQuery.
• Engage in team meetings, requirements gathering, code reviews, and project planning.
• Contribute to real-world projects impacting Dexcom’s business and healthcare technology.

About You

The company is looking for:
• Currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation December 2026 or later.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical aptitude with tools such as SQL, dbt, Fivetran, Google BigQuery, Python, and cloud platforms.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python is a plus.
• Initiative to explore new tools and improve data processes.

Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly pay range: $27.00 to $29.00 (annualized base salary estimate).
• Paid holidays.

• Travel requirement: 0-5%.
