We are looking for a highly detail-oriented research specialist to help build structured company profiles by analyzing publicly available information. This role involves reviewing company LinkedIn pages and official websites, extracting key information, and accurately populating a standardized Excel-based template.
This work requires strong analytical judgment, speed, and consistency. You must be able to quickly identify and categorize company offerings and market positioning without over-interpreting or making assumptions beyond what is publicly stated.
Key Responsibilities
– Review company LinkedIn profiles and official websites
– Identify and extract core company information, including:
– Services and capabilities
– Markets and industries served
– Geographic regions and coverage
– Company type and role within an ecosystem
– Target customers and positioning language
– Translate unstructured website and LinkedIn content into clean, structured data
– Accurately populate predefined Excel templates with consistent formatting
– Flag unclear, missing, or conflicting information when appropriate
– Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across large datasets
– Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with online research and data extraction
– High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
– Exceptional attention to detail and pattern recognition
– Ability to quickly understand and categorize business services and capabilities
– Comfortable working with ambiguity and making informed, conservative judgments
– Ability to follow structured instructions and data schemas precisely
– Strong written comprehension of business, technical, or professional services language

– Experience researching companies in technology, healthcare, life sciences, or B2B services
– Prior experience building company databases, directories, or CRM records
– Familiarity with structured taxonomies, tagging systems, or data normalization
