About the Role
AWS is seeking a world-class Global Account Manager (GAM) to manage our relationship with one of the world’s largest consulting companies. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership, build executive relationships, and drive business outcomes across all levels of the account.
You will develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects, coordinate executive business reviews, and ensure customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact role requiring sales leadership, strategic vision, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the customer’s C-suite to build strategic, global relationships.
- Develop and implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service adoption.
- Drive sales at the most strategic level within the account.
- Engage and coordinate with AWS teams, including Executives, Solutions Architects, Partners, Support, Professional Services, and Service teams.
- Lead executive business reviews and provide insights to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Define and execute a CXO relationship strategy, including executive sponsorships and strategic planning.
- Manage geographically distributed sales and technical resources supporting the account.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or experience in technology-related sales or business development.
- 12+ years of technology-related sales, marketing, or business development experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or equivalent.
- Experience managing large, complex enterprise accounts.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Knowledge of AWS or cloud technology services (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
- Proven ability to handle ambiguous or undefined challenges through problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges by location:
- Atlanta, GA | Austin, TX | Dallas, TX | Arlington, VA | Herndon, VA: $170,000 – $230,000 USD/year
- New York, NY: $187,000 – $252,900 USD/year
- Sign-on bonuses, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives.
