We are currently looking for a highly qualified Aircraft Maintenance Technician for our Depot team to help maintain, repair, and overhaul aircraft to the highest standards.

🛠️ Position Overview:

As the GFL Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Depot, you will be responsible for performing complex maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of aircraft. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies while supporting operational readiness and fleet maintenance goals. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a passion for aviation maintenance.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and overhauls on a variety of aircraft types
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems
  • Conduct detailed inspections and assessments to ensure aircraft are in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Document maintenance activities in accordance with FAA and company requirements
  • Work closely with the depot team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of aircraft maintenance projects
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure all work is performed to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Assist in the management of spare parts and tools to ensure proper availability and functionality
  • Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance operation
  • Maintain knowledge of industry regulations, technical manuals, and service bulletins to stay current with industry standards
  • Participate in training and certification programs to enhance technical skills and expertise

✅ Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems
  • Familiarity with military or commercial aircraft maintenance is a plus
  • Experience working in a depot environment, managing complex repairs and overhauls
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule (if applicable)
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances (if applicable)
