Internship Overview

As a Full Stack Web Developer & Website Manager Intern, you will be responsible for end-to-end development, deployment, maintenance, and security of production websites. This internship is ideal for students, freshers, or candidates with prior experience managing live web projects. You will gain hands-on experience across frontend, backend, database management, API integration, deployment, security, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Frontend Development

  • Build responsive, mobile-friendly UI
  • Implement clean, accessible, and user-centric designs
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility
  • Optimize page load and UI performance

Skills Required: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React / Next.js / Vue, Tailwind / Bootstrap / Material UI, basic UX & accessibility (WCAG)

2. Backend Development

  • Design and implement secure and scalable backend architectures
  • Handle business logic, authentication, and role-based access
  • Create and integrate APIs

Skills Required: Node.js (Express / NestJS), PHP (Laravel), or Python (Django / FastAPI), RESTful APIs, JWT/OAuth authentication

3. Database Management

  • Database schema design, indexing, and optimization
  • Ensure data integrity and backups
  • Migration and version control

Skills Required: MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB, ORM (Sequelize / Prisma / TypeORM / Eloquent), query optimization

4. API Integration

  • Integrate third-party APIs (payment, email, analytics)
  • Implement error handling and fallback mechanisms
  • Maintain API documentation and testing

Skills Required: REST/JSON APIs, Postman / Swagger, API security & rate-limiting

5. DevOps & Deployment

  • Server setup, deployment, and monitoring
  • CI/CD pipeline configuration
  • Domain, SSL, and hosting management

Skills Required: Linux, AWS / DigitalOcean / VPS hosting, Nginx / Apache, Git/GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD basics

6. Security & Compliance

  • Implement website and API security best practices
  • Protect against common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
  • Secure user data and handle backup & recovery

7. Website Maintenance & Monitoring

  • Bug fixing, performance monitoring, and updates
  • Dependency management
  • Uptime, logs, and error monitoring

Preferred Tools: PM2, Supervisor, basic analytics & error tracking

8. Documentation & Communication

  • Maintain clean, reusable, and documented code
  • Clearly explain technical decisions
  • Provide timely status updates and realistic timelines

Soft Skills Required: Ownership mindset, clear communication, deadline discipline, transparency

Stipend & Perks
