About the Internship

Bright Beginning is seeking passionate Full Stack Web Developer interns to manage end-to-end website development, maintenance, and deployment. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on production websites, build both frontend and backend components, integrate APIs, manage databases, and ensure security and performance.

This internship is ideal for Computer Science Engineering students, freshers, or candidates with prior experience in full-stack development or live project management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Frontend Development

  • Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centric UI
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization
  • Implement accessible and clean designs

Skills Required: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React / Next.js / Vue, Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap / Material UI, basic UX & accessibility understanding

2. Backend Development

  • Design and implement secure, scalable backend architecture
  • Handle business logic, authentication, and role-based access
  • Create and integrate APIs

Skills Required: Node.js (Express / NestJS) or PHP (Laravel) or Python (Django/FastAPI), RESTful APIs, JWT/OAuth/session-based authentication

3. Database Management

  • Design schemas, define relations, and optimize queries
  • Ensure data integrity, backups, and migration/version control

Skills Required: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ORM (Sequelize / Prisma / TypeORM / Eloquent)

4. API Integration

  • Integrate third-party APIs (payment, email, analytics, content tools)
  • Implement error handling, fallback mechanisms, and secure APIs

Skills Required: REST / JSON APIs, API security, Postman / Swagger

5. DevOps & Deployment

  • Server setup, deployment, and monitoring
  • CI/CD pipeline setup, domain, SSL, and hosting management

Skills Required: Linux server handling, AWS / DigitalOcean / VPS hosting, Nginx / Apache, Git/GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD basics

6. Security & Compliance

  • Implement security best practices for websites and APIs
  • Protect against common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, HTTPS, CORS, CSRF, XSS)
  • Secure user data and handle backup & recovery planning

7. Website Maintenance & Monitoring

  • Bug fixing, updates, and dependency management
  • Monitor uptime, logs, and errors

Tools Preferred: PM2 / Supervisor, basic analytics & error tracking

8. Documentation & Communication

  • Maintain clean, documented code
  • Explain technical decisions clearly
  • Provide timely updates and realistic timelines

Soft Skills: Ownership mindset, clear communication, deadline discipline, transparency

Deliverables & Accountability

  • Fully functional website per agreed scope
  • Clean, reusable, and well-documented code
  • Smooth handover and knowledge transfer
  • Timely delivery with milestone reviews

Stipend & Benefits
