💼 Overview

We are hiring a Mid-Level Full-Stack Web Developer to support a growing UK-based web development business transitioning from a freelance operation into a full-service agency.

The selected candidate will work across a hybrid stack involving:

  • WordPress projects
  • Laravel applications
  • Modern SPA interfaces

Initially, you will help clear an existing backlog of client work. Over time, you will take ownership of individual client projects and drive delivery independently.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
  • Build custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Work on Laravel applications using modern architectural practices
  • Develop Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Inertia.js and Vue.js
  • Switch between WordPress and Laravel tasks as required
  • Troubleshoot bugs and implement new features
  • Collaborate directly with the founder on planning and delivery
  • Gradually take full ownership of assigned client projects

🛠 Required Skills & Experience

👨‍💻 Professional Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional web development experience
  • Proven experience delivering client-based projects
  • Comfortable working independently in agency environments

🌐 WordPress Expertise

  • Strong experience with WordPress
  • Custom theme development
  • Plugin development and customization
  • Experience with page builders (UTheme Pro preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL

⚙ Laravel & Frontend Stack

  • Hands-on experience with Laravel
  • Experience with Inertia.js (or similar SPA architecture)
  • Strong frontend development using Vue.js
  • Understanding of modern MVC patterns and clean architecture
