🔹 Role Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Full-Stack Web Developer to join a growing UK web development business transitioning from a freelance operation into a full-service agency. You will work across a mixed stack of WordPress and Laravel projects, helping clear backlogs and eventually taking ownership of client projects.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
  • Build custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Work with page builders (e.g., UTheme Pro) to deliver client solutions.

Laravel & Frontend Development

  • Work on Laravel applications using modern architecture.
  • Develop SPA interfaces using Inertia.js and Vue.js.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and implement new features across projects.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Switch between WordPress and Laravel tasks as project needs require.
  • Collaborate directly with the founder on project delivery.
  • Eventually take ownership of individual client projects.

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

Professional Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional web development experience.
  • Proven experience delivering client projects.

WordPress Expertise

  • Custom theme and plugin development.
  • Experience with page builders (UTheme Pro preferred).
  • Strong PHP and MySQL knowledge.

Laravel & Frontend Expertise

  • Laravel framework experience.
  • SPA development with Inertia.js or similar.
  • Vue.js frontend development.

Other Skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving agency environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good English communication skills.

🔹 Work Conditions

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week.
  • Must overlap with UK business hours.
  • Contract duration: 3+ months, with extension possible based on performance.
