About the Role

Spectiv VR is seeking a motivated Full Stack Web Developer to help build a robust web platform for VR streaming. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced startup environment where creativity, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving are essential. You’ll work across the stack, contributing to both frontend and backend development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain frontend applications using React/Redux, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Build and optimize backend services using Node.js/Express.js.
  • Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) to manage and query data.
  • Collaborate with team members on code, architecture, and project implementation.
  • Participate in GitHub/Git workflows for version control and collaborative development.
  • Adapt to new tools and technologies as needed for a rapidly evolving platform.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React/Redux, Node.js/Express.js.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with GitHub/Git for source control.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment with high autonomy and collaboration.

Bonus Skills / Preferred Experience

  • ES6/ES2015, MongoDB, SASS/SCSS
  • Scrum/Agile development experience
  • Knowledge of Blockchain or Cryptocurrency concepts
  • Experience with team collaboration tools like Slack
