About the Role
As an FSO Technology Senior Analyst, you will work in EY’s Service Delivery Center (SDC) alongside high-performing colleagues. You will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, delivering, and supporting technology solutions for financial services clients. This is a fast-paced role requiring flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies.
You will contribute to modernizing systems, creating cloud-native applications, and implementing microservices and API-driven solutions. The role involves collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver high-performance, customer-facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy distributed software applications for financial services clients.
- Deliver engineering solutions across all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, and testing.
- Collaborate with engagement teams, clients, and stakeholders to implement high-quality, reliable systems.
- Modernize legacy systems and create cloud-native applications leveraging microservices, API management, and open-source technologies.
- Ensure excellent customer experience and system reliability.
- Participate in Agile development practices and follow TDD/BDD approaches.
- Stay current with technology trends and provide recommendations to improve client engagement.
- Travel up to 50% as needed to client or project sites.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
- Backend experience using Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, microservices, serverless architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Frontend development using modern frameworks like React or Angular and responsive web design practices.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience building applications/platforms with cloud-native architecture (IaaS, PaaS, containers).
- Familiarity with collaborative development tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks and TDD/BDD techniques.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Akka/Scala
- Kafka or RabbitMQ messaging systems
- ElasticSearch
- Hadoop/Spark/Flume
- NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Cassandra, or other

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary Range (US): $66,300 – $135,400
- Base Salary Range (NYC Metro, WA, CA excl. Sacramento): $79,500 – $153,800
