As a Full-Stack Java Web Application Developer, you will join an international team, contributing to both frontend and backend systems while working remotely from anywhere worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient, maintainable Java-based web applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Conduct code reviews via screen-sharing to maintain high coding standards
  • Research and apply latest web development trends and technologies
  • Implement backend functionality using Java MVC frameworks (Struts1, Struts2)
  • Work with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) or disk storage
  • Build user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Use Java ANT to build product installation binaries
  • Track code versions with Subversion (SVN)
  • Assist with deployment to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Design training materials and host sessions for colleagues and customers
  • Collaborate internationally to define, design, and ship new features
  • Work independently and manage tasks asynchronously

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in full-stack Java development
  • Familiarity with Struts MVC frameworks
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with version control systems (Subversion preferred)
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing asynchronous tasks
  • Ability to align schedule with Central European Time (GMT+1) for at least 4 hours daily
  • Self-motivated, organized, and collaborative
