Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications.
  • Implement backend functionality using Java MVC frameworks (Struts1, Struts2).
  • Build and maintain relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) or disk-based storage solutions.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Use ANT for building installation binaries and Subversion (SVN) for version control.
  • Deploy applications to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with international teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Create training materials and host sessions for colleagues and customers.
  • Stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience in full-stack Java web development.
  • Familiarity with MVC frameworks, relational databases, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS).
  • Comfortable with version control (Subversion) and build tools (ANT).
  • Ability to work remotely and independently while collaborating with a Central European Time (GMT+1) team.
  • Good communication skills in English.
