Role Overview

The Full Stack Developer will work with architects and engineers in PaaS, DevOps, Security, and IaaS environments. The role includes building front-end architectures, backend services, and RESTful APIs, with a strong focus on cloud services and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build visually appealing, responsive front-end websites from mockups/wireframes
  • Design user interactions and translate them into code
  • Develop functional back-end servers, databases, and applications
  • Ensure cross-platform optimization (mobile & desktop)
  • Develop RESTful services and APIs
  • Advise on emerging technologies and communicate strategy to executives
  • Maintain security, performance, scalability, usability, and reliability
  • Stay current with software development best practices, tools, and trends

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Computer Science preferred)
  • Fluent in CSS, JavaScript, HTML, with preprocessor knowledge (Sass, LESS)
  • Backend expertise in Java, .NET, Python, PHP, Ruby
  • Knowledge of databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle
  • Experience with frameworks: AngularJS, React, Ember, Node.js, Express.js
  • Familiarity with Linux, Apache, IIS, Nginx, J2EE
  • Experience with Docker, GitOps, and cloud (AWS IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Agile/Scrum experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Identity and access management experience
  • Monitoring/logging: Splunk
  • AWS Certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, SysOps)
  • 3+ years GitLab experience
