Role Overview:

CGS is seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Developer to support an enterprise-wide data inventory initiative. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams to develop an integrated software solution while adhering to best practices in security, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software applications, APIs, and services.
  • Implement and execute application tests and testing strategies.
  • Script solutions to automate manual processes.
  • Follow and mentor others on version control and deployment processes.
  • Strengthen application security and monitor metrics for performance and business insights.
  • Analyze industry-specific technologies and provide actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 11 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Expertise in full stack development, including both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks/libraries: Angular, Node.js, TypeORM.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and phase-based delivery.
  • Knowledge of database structure, integration, and deployment practices.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred / Ideal Qualifications:

  • Active DHS or other federal security clearance.
  • Hands-on experience with compiled and interpreted languages.
  • Familiarity with Unix-based command line, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, SQL, Neo4j, Nest.js, Kibana, Matomo, Marvel, Forever, Shibboleth/SAML, Git, BitBucket, Grunt, Selenium, Linux administration.
