Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team for an ongoing medical application project. The focus is on completing the Medical Record Microservice, reviewing the existing codebase, fixing bugs, and implementing remaining features.

Project Overview

  • Collaborate on a medical records platform with both frontend and backend components.
  • Review and optimize the existing Java Spring Boot 3 backend and Next.js 14 frontend.
  • Ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend APIs.
  • Implement new features for the Medical Record System, including CRUD operations, patient history management, and dental dashboards.

Tech Stack

  • Backend: Java 17, Spring Boot 3, PostgreSQL
  • Frontend: Next.js 14 (App Router), TypeScript, Material UI (MUI)
  • Tools: Docker, Git

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and understand the current backend and frontend codebase.
  • Fix minor bugs and ensure frontend-backend API integration works seamlessly.
  • Develop and implement remaining Medical Record System features.
  • Optimize performance, maintain clean and maintainable code, and follow best practices.
  • Participate in team collaboration via Git and agile workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Java development with Spring Boot 3.x.
  • Hands-on experience with Next.js (React) and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerized development workflows.
  • Ability to review, debug, and enhance existing codebases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in medical or healthcare application development.
  • Familiarity with Material UI (MUI) and frontend state management.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and REST API best practices.
