Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a diverse team of architects and engineers. You will contribute to cloud and platform services environments, focusing on full-stack development, DevOps practices, and modern cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop front-end architecture from designer mockups and wireframes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Design user interactions and optimize cross-platform performance, including mobile.
  • Build functional back-end applications, servers, and databases to support websites.
  • Develop RESTful services and APIs.
  • Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and programming languages.
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements: security, scalability, performance, maintainability, usability, reliability.
  • Provide insights on new technologies and communicate their effectiveness to executive stakeholders.
  • Participate in professional development and maintain personal and professional networks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science preferred).
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS (Foundation/Bootstrap), JavaScript, and CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, PHP, MySQL, with familiarity in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Express.js, React, Ember, Node.js, Oracle.
  • Experience with JS tools (Bower, Grunt, Gulp), server technologies (Apache, IIS, Nginx, J2EE), and RESTful APIs.
  • Skilled with libraries like jQuery and Backbone.js and AJAX for dynamic content.
  • Familiarity with AWS IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Docker Compose, and GitOps practices.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with identity & access management solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools, e.g., Splunk.
  • AWS certifications (SysOps Admin, Developer Associate, Solutions Architect).
  • 3+ years working with GitLab.
