Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for Army mission partners.
- Write original code and update existing systems, ensuring program requirements are met.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
- Ensure smooth operation across platforms and devices, including mobile systems.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to inform feature development.
- Assist in preparing epics and features based on user needs.
- Recommend and implement software improvements.
- Create technical documentation for reporting and reference.
- Deploy software using Agile methodologies and test-driven environments.
- Deploy and maintain APIs on AWS infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Active SECRET clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Meets DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification requirements.
- Proven experience as a Software Developer or Engineer.
- Previous experience in government technology projects.
- Familiarity with Agile development, cloud platforms (AWS), API development, and software deployment.
- Proficiency in programming languages/frameworks: .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with version control systems like GitLab.
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related technical field.
- Knowledge of Army software development processes and tools.
- Experience in a consulting/client environment.
- Familiarity with federal IT standards (FISMA, NIST, RMF).
