Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for Army mission partners.
  • Write original code and update existing systems, ensuring program requirements are met.
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
  • Ensure smooth operation across platforms and devices, including mobile systems.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to inform feature development.
  • Assist in preparing epics and features based on user needs.
  • Recommend and implement software improvements.
  • Create technical documentation for reporting and reference.
  • Deploy software using Agile methodologies and test-driven environments.
  • Deploy and maintain APIs on AWS infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

  • Active SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • Meets DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification requirements.
  • Proven experience as a Software Developer or Engineer.
  • Previous experience in government technology projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile development, cloud platforms (AWS), API development, and software deployment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages/frameworks: .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with version control systems like GitLab.
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related technical field.
  • Knowledge of Army software development processes and tools.
  • Experience in a consulting/client environment.
  • Familiarity with federal IT standards (FISMA, NIST, RMF).
