About the Role

LMI is seeking a Full Stack Developer with an active SECRET clearance to design, develop, and deploy software supporting U.S. Army missions. You will work across frontend and backend stacks, integrating APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and mission-critical platforms to deliver agile, scalable solutions for Warfighters. The role involves collaborating directly with government partners, contributing to epics/features, troubleshooting software, and ensuring cross-platform functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software in a full-stack environment.
  • Write and maintain code meeting program requirements; update existing code.
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs; troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications.
  • Ensure smooth functionality across platforms, including mobile systems.
  • Deploy and maintain APIs on AWS infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Army mission partners to gather feedback and translate into actionable features.
  • Produce technical documentation and recommend improvements.
  • Apply Agile development methodologies and test-driven development practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Active SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience in government or mission-critical environments.
  • DoD 8570.01 certification (IAT Level II).
  • Proficiency with programming languages/frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud deployment and API development.
  • Familiarity with GitLab for version control.
  • Agile and test-driven development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a technical field.
  • Knowledge of Army software development processes and technologies.
  • Familiarity with federal IT standards: FISMA, NIST, RMF.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Target salary: $103,784 – $179,659, dependent on experience and qualifications.
