Role Overview

TMPC, Inc., a veteran-led cybersecurity SDVOSB 8(a) company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work with cross-functional teams of architects and engineers. You will contribute to the development of secure, scalable cloud-based systems and applications across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in modern web technologies, cloud computing, and containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop front-end architecture and translate designer mockups/wireframes into code.
  • Design user interactions on web pages with a focus on performance and usability.
  • Build and maintain functional back-end databases, applications, and servers.
  • Design and implement RESTful services and APIs.
  • Ensure cross-platform optimization, especially for mobile devices.
  • Incorporate security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability into software architecture.
  • Research emerging web technologies, frameworks, and programming languages.
  • Provide insight to stakeholders on new technologies and software approaches.
  • Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through continuous learning and networking.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Proficient in CSS (Foundation/Bootstrap), JavaScript, and HTML, with familiarity in preprocessors like Sass and LESS.
  • Strong experience in Linux, PHP, and MySQL; familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Express.js, Oracle, React, Ember, Node.js.
  • Experience with JS build tools: Bower, Grunt, Gulp.
  • Proficiency in Java, .NET, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
  • Knowledge of server technologies: Apache, IIS, Node.js, Nginx, J2EE.
  • Skilled in API/RESTful service design and AJAX development.
  • Libraries/frameworks: Backbone.js, jQuery.
  • Cloud proficiency: AWS IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
  • Experience with Docker Compose, GitOps, and version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile development, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Splunk.
  • Relevant AWS certifications (SysOps Admin, Developer, Solutions Architect).
  • 3+ years of experience working with GitLab.
