⏳ Duration: 10-week Summer Internship (Full-Time, 40 hours/week)
💰 Compensation: $28.00 USD per hour

🔹 About the Role
This is not a corporate or remote position. As a Fulfillment Area Manager Intern, you will gain hands-on leadership experience in Amazon’s fast-paced operations environment. You’ll work directly on the warehouse floor, managing and mentoring a team of Amazon associates while learning to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a culture of high performance.
Interns will also develop and execute a summer project in partnership with site leadership, providing a real impact to operational processes.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
- Learn to coach, manage, and develop a team of 50–100 Amazon Associates
- Drive standard work, operational excellence, and continuous improvement through an intern project
- Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
- Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on site needs
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages, operate pallet jacks and PIT equipment where applicable
- Maintain a safe and productive environment, lifting up to 49 lbs, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and climbing stairs
- Adapt to variable noise levels and fast-paced warehouse environments
🎓 Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, with completion anticipated between December 2026 and August 2027
💼 Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field
