Job Description

Location: Ahmedabad (Initial 3–4 months WFO, then Remote)
Industry: IT Services & IT Consulting
Employment Type: Full-Time, 5 Days Working
Experience: Relevant Frontend WordPress Development Experience

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Implement new features and functionalities on WordPress websites
  • Establish and guide website architecture for high performance and scalability
  • Develop responsive designs and convert layouts/wireframes into working themes & plugins
  • Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and scalability
  • Support back-end developers with coding, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Work with RESTful APIs (JSON/XML) and integrate 3rd-party plugins and services
  • Handle multilingual & multi-network WordPress sites, including WooCommerce
  • Work with diverse themes: X-Theme, Astra, Avada, Bridge, Divi, Engage, GeneratePress

🔹 Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Expertise in responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility
  • Hands-on experience with SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, CSS GRID
  • Proficient with Git/SVN/Mercurial version control
  • Strong understanding of WordPress CMS structure, plugins, and customizations
  • Experience with debugging tools (Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.)
  • Comfortable with PHP back-end development fundamentals
  • Experience in WooCommerce and other WordPress integrations
