Location: Ahmedabad (Initial 3–4 months WFO, then Remote)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Frontend WordPress Developer to implement new features, optimize performance, and maintain high-quality responsive designs for websites and web applications. You will collaborate closely with backend developers and contribute to building scalable, user-friendly CMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement new features and functionalities on WordPress sites
  • Establish and guide website architecture
  • Ensure high performance and availability of CMS platforms
  • Develop responsive designs and convert them into working themes and plugins
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability
  • Support backend developers with coding, debugging, and troubleshooting

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience building UI for websites/web applications
  • Expertise in responsive website development
  • Comfortable with debugging tools (Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.)
  • Ability to convert layouts & wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Experience interacting with RESTful APIs (JSON, XML) – Mandatory
  • Hands-on experience with SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, CSS GRID
  • Proficient in Git, SVN, or Mercurial
  • Understanding of PHP backend development
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress structure and plugins
  • Experience with WooCommerce projects
  • Exposure to WordPress multi-network & multilingual sites
  • Implement 3rd party integrations on WordPress sites
  • Experience with diverse themes: X-Theme, Astra, Avada, Bridge, Divi, Engage, GeneratePress
