We are hiring a skilled Frontend WordPress Developer to join a leading IT Services & IT Consulting firm based in Ahmedabad.

The ideal candidate will have strong frontend expertise combined with in-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and third-party integrations. You will work closely with backend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and responsive WordPress solutions.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Implement new features and functionalities in WordPress websites
  • Establish and guide website architecture
  • Ensure high performance and availability of CMS platforms
  • Convert responsive designs into fully functional WordPress themes and plugins
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability
  • Collaborate with backend developers for coding, integrations, and troubleshooting
  • Manage third-party integrations and API connections
  • Maintain and enhance WooCommerce-based websites

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong command over HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience building UI for websites and web applications
  • Expertise in responsive website development
  • Ability to convert layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs (JSON, XML) – Mandatory
  • Hands-on experience with SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, CSS Grid
  • Proficiency in Git / SVN / Mercurial
  • Strong understanding of WordPress core structure and plugins
  • Experience with WooCommerce projects
  • Exposure to WordPress multi-network and multilingual sites
  • Experience with third-party integrations
  • Familiarity with themes such as:
    • X-Theme
    • Astra
    • Avada
    • Bridge
    • Divi
    • Engage
    • GeneratePress
  • Basic understanding of PHP backend development
