Key Responsibilities

UI Development & Implementation

  • Convert design mockups, wireframes, and requirements into responsive front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap 5
  • Build reusable UI components and integrate them into WordPress or custom CMS platforms
  • Implement interactive features using JavaScript/jQuery
  • Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-structured code

Accessibility & Standards

  • Apply semantic HTML and ARIA standards
  • Ensure ADA and WCAG compliance
  • Implement SEO-friendly markup including Schema.org structured data

CMS & Integration Support

  • Assist with integrating HTML/CSS into WordPress themes and CMS templates
  • Maintain CMS-driven platforms, including plugin and theme updates

Performance & QA

  • Optimize front-end performance
  • Conduct cross-browser and responsive testing on desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • Debug and fix UI issues without disrupting existing functionality

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work with designers, developers, and project managers
  • Follow coding standards and naming conventions
  • Use Git for version control
  • Adapt to new tools and frameworks as needed

Technical Skills Required

  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap 5
  • CMS Platforms: WordPress, Craft CMS
  • Familiarity with modern frameworks: React, Vue.js, Angular (plus)
  • Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Knowledge of accessibility and SEO best practices
  • Experience with integrating front-end with PHP/CMS templates
