About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Engineering Lead to join our growing London team and help shape the future of AI design principles in the financial sector.

Responsibilities
• Leadership & Strategy
• Team Growth: Lead and manage a team of front-end engineers, fostering career development through regular 1:1s and clear growth paths.
• Operational Excellence: Resolve blockers, manage team dynamics, and ensure engineers are empowered to do their best work.
• Technical Roadmap: Collaborate with product, design, and leadership to define priorities and set coding standards and architectural patterns for long-term scalability.

• Build & Optimize: Maintain highly responsive, accessible, and performant front-end applications.
• Design Systems: Implement component libraries to accelerate development and ensure UI consistency.
• Full-Stack Collaboration: Work with backend engineers to design efficient APIs and stay ahead of emerging front-end technologies.

• UX Focus: Partner with designers to turn prototypes and wireframes into seamless, high-performance user experiences.

Qualifications
• Experience: 8+ years of professional front-end engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership/management role.
• Tech Stack: Expert-level proficiency with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Architecture: Deep understanding of state management, performance optimization, and component-driven development.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical discussions, set architectural direction, and mentor engineers.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and a “startup-friendly” mindset (comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration).

Required Skills
• Experience: 8+ years of professional front-end engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership/management role.
