Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Front End / Web Engineer to own the full lifecycle of web development, from design and implementation to testing and optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, design, and backend engineers—to build performant, user-centric websites that deliver exceptional experiences. This role emphasizes modern frontend frameworks, accessibility, performance, and adherence to web development best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of end-to-end web development, including design, coding, unit testing, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with product and design teams to build efficient, user-centric web interfaces.
  • Champion web development best practices, performance optimization, and coding standards.
  • Integrate frontend components with backend APIs to ensure smooth data flow.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Maintain accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) to ensure usability for people with impairments.
  • Implement security principles relevant to web development.
  • Work with web analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and code reviews.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and utilize container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of experience in web development, including at least 2–3 years of hands-on frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, object-oriented concepts, and design patterns.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries like React or Next.js.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (preferably Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and security best practices.
  • Experience implementing analytics and tag management integrations.
