Job Description

🚀 About the Role

The Learning Management team at PeopleFluent is seeking a Front End UI Web Developer who enjoys working with modern technologies and believes that software development is a team sport.

You’ll build high-quality user interfaces for PeopleFluent’s learning and talent management platforms while collaborating closely with design and backend teams.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Build scalable, high-performance UI components using React
  • Collaborate with backend teams on API integration
  • Review and evaluate design & API deliverables for build feasibility
  • Break down tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver features end-to-end
  • Participate in code reviews and improve engineering quality
  • Transform legacy UI code into modern Single Page Applications (SPAs)
  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.0 compliance) and localization support

🛠 Technical Requirements

Core Skills

  • React + Redux / State Management
  • TypeScript
  • Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • REST API integration (Axios preferred)
  • Responsive, mobile-first web design
  • Clean HTML semantics & modern CSS
  • CSS preprocessors
  • Git version control

Testing & Tooling

  • QA Automation: Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library
  • Atlassian Tools: Jira & Confluence
  • Webpack, Babel
  • Basic CI/CD understanding
  • Docker (backend deployment exposure preferred)

Architecture & Patterns

  • Microapps architecture
  • Decoupled frontend/backend architecture
  • SPA transformation strategies
  • Accessibility (WCAG 2.0)
  • Localization & multilingual UI implementation
