About the Role

PeopleFluent is seeking a Front-End UI Web Developer to join our Learning Management team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality software, enjoys collaborating with others, and takes ownership of delivering robust, responsive, and accessible front-end solutions.

As a developer, you will help create world-class user interfaces for PeopleFluent’s suite of products, ensuring performance, usability, and accessibility at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build front-end components and UI features for PeopleFluent’s products.
  • Collaborate with design and backend teams on API integration and design feasibility.
  • Break down tasks, prioritize work, and see features through from scoping to deployment.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on design and API deliverables for build feasibility.
  • Transform legacy UI code into modern single-page applications.
  • Implement WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and mobile-first responsive designs.
  • Support localization and multilingual implementations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong experience in React and Redux, with modern state management practices.
  • Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience consuming REST APIs (Axios knowledge a plus).
  • Knowledge of Angular or other front-end libraries is a bonus; familiarity with AG Grid is helpful.
  • Solid understanding of HTML semantics, CSS, CSS preprocessors, and responsive web design.
  • Experience with frontend/backend split patterns and decoupled architectures.
  • Ability to take a design mockup from requirements to launch independently.
  • Experience with microapps architecture and transforming legacy UI code.
  • Familiarity with QA Automation: Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library.
  • Experience using Git, Atlassian Tools (Confluence, Jira), Webpack, Babel, Docker, and basic CI/CD concepts.
  • Attention to detail, design, and user experience.
