We are seeking a Front End Engineer II to help create a friction-free delivery experience across shopping, checkout, and post-purchase.

As a Front End Engineer II, you will play a key role in building highly scalable, low-latency web systems that enhance the delivery experience globally.

🌟 Key Responsibilities

  • Build extensible front-end systems to support the rapid growth of Amazon’s delivery business.
  • Evolve and maintain services that are highly reliable and extremely low latency.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to design the next-generation checkout delivery experience.
  • Develop systems for representing delivery choices to enable rapid UX experimentation.
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment while designing solutions that delight customers.
  • Own the design and implementation of new components aimed at improving scalability, availability, and performance.

💼 Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional front-end, web, or mobile development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 1+ years of experience in computer science fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with agile software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, and common front-end technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of building highly-scalable, global software solutions.
