We are seeking a Front-End Developer and Administrator (All Levels) to design, develop, and manage modern digital interfaces across public websites and mission-critical web applications. This role blends creative UI/UX craftsmanship with enterprise-grade front-end engineering and platform administration.

You’ll collaborate with product owners, designers, researchers, and backend developers to translate complex requirements into beautiful, scalable, secure digital experiences.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain the company’s public websites.
  • Convert design mockups and wireframes into accessible, responsive web templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript (primarily within WordPress CMS).
  • Design and build application user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and Alpine.js.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs in collaboration with backend teams.
  • Conduct usability testing, accessibility audits, and task flow improvements.
  • Develop and debug applications using testing frameworks like Jest and Enzyme.
  • Perform code reviews, refactor legacy systems, and promote front-end best practices.
  • Ensure content and technical compliance standards are met.
  • Assist with design and maintenance of the company’s SharePoint-based intranet.
  • Package and deliver UI data through JSON-based HTTP APIs.

🎓 Ideal Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, Digital Media Design, or related field
    (or equivalent experience: 8–10+ years in UI/UX front-end development; Master’s with 6–8 years; High School with 14+ years considered).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating accessible, responsive web applications.
  • Experience in enterprise or mission-driven environments.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and mentorship experience.
  • WordPress or other CMS development expertise.
  • Expert-level proficiency in:
    • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP
    • Responsive design principles
    • JSON API development and integration
  • Experience integrating SQL Server data through secure PHP connectors.
  • Advanced proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Adobe XD, and Canva.

💡 Desired Skills

  • Expert knowledge of React, Angular, Node.js.
  • Strong experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with focus on usability and UI optimization.
  • Ability to work independently with accountability and minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with secure systems, mission planning tools, or cyber operations.
  • Familiarity with certificate-based data access control.
  • Background in open-source contributions, hackathons, or public speaking.
  • Passion for mentorship, team growth, and leadership.
  • Interest in emerging technologies like AI, 3D/VR, and Three.js.
