📌 Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front End Architect to lead and govern global front-end architecture standards across multiple brands and regions. This role is responsible for defining best practices, ensuring high performance, maintaining component libraries, and guiding distributed system integrator teams in an international environment.

You will act as the architectural authority for all front-end initiatives, particularly within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) environments and modern headless commerce ecosystems.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Architecture & Governance

  • Define and enforce global front-end architecture standards and best practices.
  • Provide sign-off on global deliverables before local team adoption.
  • Build and maintain scalable front-end component libraries for multi-brand usage.
  • Architect high-performance, modular, and reusable front-end systems.

🔹 Code Quality & Reviews

  • Conduct daily front-end code reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with global style guides and reskin guidelines.
  • Write and review technical specifications.
  • Evangelize best practices across UI and brand development teams.

🔹 Team Collaboration & Oversight

  • Lead daily calls with system integrator teams.
  • Work closely with Technical Product Leads to prioritize tasks, defects, and remediation efforts.
  • Provide training and oversight to site development teams.
  • Participate in Agile rituals (planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, demos).

🔹 Performance & Optimization

  • Ensure fast-loading, optimized web experiences.
  • Focus on client-side performance improvements.
  • Drive industrialization, CI/CD, and scalable deployment processes.

✅ Required Experience & Skills

🔹 Core Expertise

  • 5+ years of front-end development in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) environments.
  • Strong experience in:
    • Vanilla JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
    • Modern frameworks (React, Vue, Ember, etc.)
    • MVC patterns
    • CSS & preprocessors (Sass, Less)
    • Modular application architecture
  • Experience with headless commerce architecture.

🔹 Development Tools & Practices

  • Git
  • NPM / Bower
  • Build tools (Webpack, Gulp)
  • Unit testing (Mocha, Chai)
  • RESTful APIs
  • Cloud-based application development
  • JIRA
  • CI/CD pipelines

🔹 Security & Performance

  • Front-end security concepts:
    • Encryption
    • XSS
    • CSRF
    • OAuth / SSO
  • Cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
  • Debugging tools and advanced front-end troubleshooting.

🔹 Communication

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with global business and IT teams.
