Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to design, implement, and manage websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will work on both back-end and front-end development, including theme and plugin development, integrations, performance optimization, and security management.

Freshers with strong fundamentals and passion for WordPress development are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress-based websites
  • Design and implement new features as per project requirements
  • Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins
  • Manage technical aspects of CMS ensuring performance and availability
  • Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and RESTful services
  • Convert UI/UX designs into fully functional websites
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing WordPress sites
  • Maintain website security (backups, SSL, malware protection)
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic to strong understanding of WordPress development
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
  • Good understanding of PHP, MySQL, and WordPress architecture
  • Familiarity with custom theme and plugin development
  • Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
  • Knowledge of REST API integration and AJAX
  • Understanding of Git/version control
  • Basic knowledge of website performance optimization & SEO
  • Familiarity with web hosting, DNS, and cPanel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork ability

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Multilingual or membership-based website development
  • Basic knowledge of headless WordPress
  • Familiarity with Figma / Adobe XD
  • Awareness of security standards and GDPR compliance
