Senior Java Angular Developer with AWS Experience (US Citizen)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Angular Developer with expertise in AWS cloud services to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and AWS ecosystem to build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. This position requires US Citizenship due to security and compliance requirements. Prior experience working on government projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and REST APIs.
• Develop interactive and responsive frontend applications using Angular (latest versions).
• Ensure high-performance, secure, and scalable applications following best coding practices.
• Optimize and improve database queries and interactions with relational and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

Cloud & DevOps (AWS Ecosystem):
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications in AWS using services like Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Monitor application performance and security using CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and IAM policies.
• Implement and manage serverless and containerized applications using AWS Lambda and Docker with Kubernetes (EKS).

Architecture & Best Practices:
• Design and develop Microservices-based architecture for scalable applications.
• Apply design patterns, security best practices, and performance optimizations in backend and frontend code.
• Work on authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, JWT, and AWS Cognito.
• Implement unit testing and automated testing strategies using JUnit, Jasmine/Karma, and other testing frameworks.

Collaboration & Agile Development:
• Work in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development environment, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
• Conduct code reviews and mentorship for junior developers to ensure code quality and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• US Citizenship (Mandatory).
• 8+ years of experience in Angular and backend development
• Strong experience in AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, ECS, RDS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Terraform is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Git, Agile methodologies, and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
• Prior experience working on government projects.
• Knowledge of AI/ML integrations with AWS services.
• AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour
