About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Freelance Website Developer to work on multiple web development and UI projects. This role is ideal for self-driven developers who can manage tasks independently, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality web solutions. You will primarily work with PHP and LAMP-based environments, creating responsive, functional, and visually appealing websites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
  • Build and maintain WordPress websites and apply basic SEO best practices
  • Manage multiple web projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Maintain and optimize databases using MySQL
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders about project progress and requirements
  • Identify project needs, prioritize tasks, and work independently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in Web/UI Development: HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript
  • Strong experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • Knowledge of WordPress and basic SEO principles
  • Experience with MySQL or similar database systems
  • Familiarity with SSH, Bash, or PowerShell command-line tools
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Web Development or related field OR equivalent industry experience
  • Own laptop/PC with a stable internet connection (BYOD)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
