Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites according to client requirements
  • Implement responsive designs that perform flawlessly across devices
  • Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, and APIs to enhance site functionality
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into working websites
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and optimization for speed, SEO, and UX
  • Maintain version control and adhere to coding standards and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance to clients during and after projects
  • Stay updated with Shopify platform updates, new tools, and industry trends
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and Shopify development frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of responsive web design, UX/UI principles, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with Shopify apps, plugins, and theme customization
  • Understanding of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and web performance optimization
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control tools
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently managing deadlines

Experience

  • 1–2 years of web development experience, preferably in Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
  • Portfolio demonstrating custom Shopify solutions or e-commerce projects
  • Freelance or remote work experience is an advantage

Working Hours

  • Flexible freelance schedule, with availability for client meetings and project updates
  • Must meet project deadlines as agreed with clients
