Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Freelance Web Developer and Designer to build engaging, user-centric websites and web applications. This role is flexible, project-based, and ideal for professionals passionate about delivering high-quality digital experiences across e-commerce, corporate, and custom web projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and teams to understand project requirements, user needs, and design specifications.
  • Develop responsive, visually appealing websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and Vue.js.
  • Design wireframes, user flows, and UX strategies for intuitive navigation and improved user experience.
  • Implement back-end functionalities using Django, Spring Framework, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, or PHP.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and web services for seamless data exchange.
  • Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, SQLite; perform data visualization where necessary.
  • Set up and maintain development environments using Docker, Visual Studio, GitHub, Jenkins, Git, SVN, Ansible, and Trello; implement CI/CD workflows.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization for SEO-friendly and fast-loading websites.
  • Apply system architecture and DevOps principles for cloud deployments (AWS or Azure).
  • Ensure responsive web design principles and UX best practices across devices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Front-end: HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue.js, responsive web design.
  • Back-end: Django (Python), Spring Framework (Java), Ruby on Rails (Ruby), ASP.NET (C#).
  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, SQLite.
  • Version Control: GitHub, SVN; CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent).
  • Web services: RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL.
  • Wireframing and UX design skills; knowledge of wireframing tools is a plus.
  • SEO knowledge and web performance optimization techniques.
  • Agile methodology experience using Jira or Trello.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS or Azure; familiarity with Linux environments.
  • Strong communication skills for remote client collaboration.
