About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer to collaborate with our team on freelance projects. The ideal candidate is creative, technically skilled, and passionate about delivering visually stunning, user-friendly, and responsive web experiences.

This is a fully remote role with flexible hours, offering the opportunity to work on diverse projects and gain valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Design

  • Create intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications
  • Conduct user research to understand behaviors, pain points, and user needs
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Ensure designs align with brand identity and accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Maintain consistency using design systems and style guides

Frontend Development

  • Convert design mockups into fully functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Build responsive layouts compatible with multiple devices and browsers
  • Develop and optimize components using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Ensure clean, maintainable code and optimal performance
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs for end-to-end solutions

Skills & Qualifications

UI/UX Design

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding
  • Experience with responsive and accessible design
  • Ability to conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback
  • Familiarity with design systems and style guides

Frontend Development

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Expertise in React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Knowledge of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with version control (Git)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with backend technologies like Node.js, Python, or PHP
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles

Other Requirements

  • Attention to detail and passion for high-quality work
  • Proven experience in UI/UX design and frontend development (portfolio or GitHub required)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
