About the Role

We are looking for an expert web developer to design and build a robust, scalable website using CodeIgniter (CI), Laravel, or Ruby on Rails frameworks. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions independently.

You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization and architecture to implementation, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high-performance, secure web application using CI, Laravel, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Design scalable database architecture and efficient server-side logic.
  • Implement clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
  • Ensure the application follows best practices, coding standards, and framework conventions.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Proven experience with CodeIgniter, Laravel, or Ruby on Rails in live projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, Ruby, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue.js, React, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent).
  • Understanding of web security best practices.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with remote teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience building enterprise-level or consumer-facing web applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud deployment.
  • Experience integrating payment gateways, third-party APIs, or SaaS modules.
