Job Summary

blithequark is seeking an experienced Hospitality Customer Service Agent to join our remote team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in vacation rentals and hospitality platforms who enjoy providing exceptional guest support.

As a key customer-facing representative, you will manage guest communications, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams, and ensure smooth day-to-day hospitality operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle 10–20 guest calls per day between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM PST
  • Complete 1–2 hours of computer-based work at 8:00 PM PST
  • Work schedule applies to Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
  • Respond professionally to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Log tasks in internal notes for housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Notify employer immediately about urgent matters (same-day/next-day cancellations, date changes, lockouts, etc.)
  • Participate in group chat on working days to coordinate early check-ins
  • Check and respond to Airbnb messages twice daily on workdays
  • Monitor and respond to all other booking platforms once daily (6–7 PM PST)
  • Review and respond to Airbnb & VRBO reviews weekly and log negative feedback
  • Assign housekeeping shifts based on daily operational reports
  • Send a daily end-of-day email summarizing issues or confirming “nothing to report”

Required Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality customer service (please specify years and role type)
  • Strong working knowledge of the host side of:
    • Airbnb
    • VRBO
    • Booking.com
    • Expedia
  • Experience using Beds24 software (duration and recency required)
  • Availability to work Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays
  • Must be located in the PST time zone
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a short-term rental host
  • Familiarity with hospitality management software and operational systems
