About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Laravel developer to maintain and enhance an existing Laravel web application. The application is fully functional, and your primary responsibility will be to implement updates, new features, and improvements based on current and evolving business requirements.

This is a long-term opportunity for a developer who can deliver quality, maintainable, and scalable code, ensuring the application continues to perform efficiently as it grows.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new features and enhancements in the existing Laravel application
  • Maintain and improve code quality, scalability, and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or technical issues
  • Ensure best practices in Laravel development and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver timely updates

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Laravel framework and PHP
  • Proficiency with MySQL or other relational databases
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and version control (Git/GitHub)
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Experience with long-term project maintenance and iterative updates
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Vue.js, React, or front-end frameworks (optional but a plus)
  • Knowledge of deployment workflows and cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)
  • Familiarity with unit testing and automated QA
