🔹 Role Overview

The Lead WordPress Frontend Developer will act as a high-impact individual contributor responsible for frontend architecture, advanced WordPress implementations, and high-performance web solutions. You will take ownership of complex projects, from design-to-code, ensuring security, scalability, and seamless integrations for agency clients.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership

  • Establish and guide the website’s frontend architecture, ensuring performance, availability, and technical integrity of the CMS.

Advanced Implementation

  • Develop custom themes, functional plugins, and new frontend features from scratch.

Design-to-Code

  • Convert comprehensive layouts or wireframes into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS pages.
  • Ensure responsive and adaptive designs across devices.

Optimization

  • Maximize application speed, performance, and scalability through clean, modular code.

Technical Troubleshooting

  • Lead debugging efforts and assist back-end developers with cross-platform style consistency.

Security & Maintenance

  • Manage WordPress security updates, version control, and maintain frontend integrity.

🔹 Required Skills & Expertise

Frontend Mastery

  • Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Modern CSS & UI Layouts

  • Experience with SASS/LESS, Bootstrap, CSS GRID.

Responsive Design

  • Proven track record of complex UI and fully responsive websites.

API Proficiency

  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON, XML).

WordPress Expertise

  • Deep understanding of WordPress structure, Hooks, Filters.

E-commerce & Scale

  • Experience with WooCommerce, Multisite networks, multi-lingual configurations.

Tooling

  • Proficient with debugging tools (e.g., Chrome Inspector) and version control tools (Git).

Theme Versatility

  • Extensive experience with Astra, Avada, Divi, GeneratePress, X-Theme, Bridge.

Back-end Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of PHP for seamless frontend integration.
