Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with web and application developers to support websites and online systems
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Drupal-based applications and websites
  • Implement frontend designs using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Write and maintain backend functionality using PHP
  • Participate in daily team meetings to plan and review project goals
  • Communicate with stakeholders and document work progress in tracking systems
  • Investigate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms
  • Ensure responsive design, usability standards, and accessibility compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of professional web development experience
  • Strong experience with Drupal (site building and customization)
  • Proficiency in PHP programming
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML
  • Knowledge of responsive design and basic image editing
  • Familiarity with databases such as Oracle or SQL
  • Version control experience (Git or Subversion)
  • Understanding of usability principles and Section 508 compliance

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with typography, layout, and interactive media
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience working in government or research environments

  • U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred
