Role Overview: Digital Improvement Developer (Power Platform)

As a Digital Improvement Developer, you will contribute to Eaton’s Operational Excellence team, designing and implementing low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) to streamline workflows, enhance data collection, and deliver actionable insights.

This role also involves PowerBI development, AI proof-of-concept design using Copilot Studio, and collaboration with IT partners, business stakeholders, and external vendors to create process-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into user stories, wireframes, and specifications for low-code solutions.
  • Develop, test, and maintain Power Apps (model-driven and canvas) and Power Automate flows.
  • Design and maintain low-code AI proof-of-concept solutions with Copilot Studio.
  • Intake, prioritize, resolve, and communicate system issues.
  • Provide training, onboarding, and change management to end users.
  • Document all solutions, including functional specs, design documents, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to integrate solutions with existing systems.
  • Participate in Business Process Improvement (BPI) initiatives to identify automation opportunities.
  • Follow application lifecycle management best practices and suggest process improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Must reside in the United States; Eaton does not support work visas or relocation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience with SAP, PowerBI, Copilot Studio, and advanced Microsoft tools.
  • Proven track record of process improvement initiatives.
