Duties:

Okta’s Developer Channels & Programs team is seeking a dedicated and skilled Developer Channels Admin Support to join our team on a part-time contract basis. As a crucial member of our Developer Engagement team, you will be supporting the team managing and growing our company’s engagement with developers across social media and video platforms, email marketing, and community programs. You’ll make an impact by helping us improve internal communications, assisting with process documentation, and supporting channel management. Key responsibilities for this position may include:
1. Content Publishing Assistance: Help our channel owners publish high-quality content for social media posts and YouTube videos. This includes revising captions, adding metadata, and assisting with graphic procurement.
2. Audience Engagement Assistance: Help our team engage with our audience by collating comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms and YouTube. Assist with developing and managing a case study library to build up a database of individuals to connect with for storytelling content.
3. Analytics and Reporting: Assist members of the team in monitoring performance metrics across social and media channels, tracking audience growth, and providing regular reports with actionable insights to improve our content strategy.
4. Scheduling and Coordination: Manage content calendars and team Asana boards, schedule posts, and coordinate with team members to ensure content is delivered consistently and on time.
5. Documentation assistance: Assist members of the team with documenting processes and resources on our company’s internal Confluence site.

Skills:

Skills
Interest in and experience with social media management and YouTube channel management.
Strong understanding of various social media platforms.
Experience with tools like Asana, Google Sheets, Slack, and Confluence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a passion for storytelling is a plus.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Passion for technology and a good understanding of the software industry is a plus.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
