🚀 Role Overview

As a Data Center Operations (DCO) Technician, you will perform hardware diagnostics, server installations, network troubleshooting, and operational support to maintain high availability across AWS data centers.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Install server racks and perform hardware break-fix repairs
• Troubleshoot network and Linux system issues
• Respond to incidents impacting service availability
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintenance activities
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements
• Support onboarding and training of new team members

⚙️ Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs
• Work in industrial, cramped, or elevated spaces
• Stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Work rotating shifts (days/nights/weekends/holidays)
• Travel or commute between data center locations as needed

🎯 Basic Qualifications

✅ 1+ year networking experience
✅ 1+ year Linux OS experience
✅ Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or related field
✅ Hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
✅ Ability to rack and install equipment

Preferred:
✔ Data center environment experience
✔ Ticketing system experience
✔ Cabling infrastructure knowledge
✔ Customer issue resolution under pressure

💰 Compensation & Benefits

💵 $29 – $52 per hour (location dependent)
