Amazon Web Services (AWS), part of Amazon, is hiring Data Center Technicians (DCO Tech) to support and maintain global cloud infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems that power millions of businesses worldwide.

💰 Salary Range: $26 – $52 per hour + sign-on bonus, RSUs & benefits

Role Overview
As a DCO Technician, you will be responsible for hardware diagnostics, server installations, network troubleshooting, and maintaining data center uptime. You’ll collaborate with engineers, vendors, and operations teams to ensure seamless service availability.

Key Responsibilities
• Install and maintain server racks and hardware components
• Troubleshoot network and system issues impacting service availability
• Perform break-fix repairs on servers, storage, and networking equipment
• Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance activities
• Document incidents and contribute to process improvements
• Assist with onboarding and training new technicians

Physical & Work Requirements
• Lift up to 40 lbs and work in industrial data center environments
• Stand/walk for extended periods and work in elevated or confined spaces
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Travel between data center sites as required

Basic Qualifications
• 18+ months of server hardware troubleshooting or IT experience
• 18+ months of Layer 1/Layer 2 networking experience
• Ability to work flexible schedules

Preferred Qualifications
• Data center experience (racking, stacking, cable management)
• IT degree or equivalent experience
• Certifications (CompTIA, Network+, CCENT)
• Linux/Unix knowledge
• Experience training team members
