Job Description

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Warehouse & Analytics Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the business.

You will work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure clean, consistent, and reliable data is readily available through robust pipelines and well-structured data models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
  • Build and optimize our data warehouse architecture (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Model and transform raw data into curated datasets for business intelligence and self-service analytics
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business users to define metrics, data definitions, and reporting needs
  • Monitor pipeline performance and data quality, and proactively troubleshoot issues
  • Document data models, processes, and system architecture
  • Support the development of dashboards and tools for reporting and data visualization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence development
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling best practices (e.g., dimensional, star/snowflake schemas)
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Familiarity with ETL tools like dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or Talend
  • Experience working with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD for data pipelines, and testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with data governance practices, metadata management, and data catalogs
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred)
