Data Visualization and Tableau Specialist

Vanderbilt University is seeking an experienced and creative Data Visualization and Tableau Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will create and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau to provide insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and the ability to think critically and creatively about data solutions. To excel in this position, you must have a strong understanding of data visualization best practices and an eye for design. If you have a desire to make an impact and transform data into meaningful visualizations, we want to hear from you!Required Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field* 3+ years of experience in data analysis and data visualization* Advanced knowledge of Tableau and its capabilities* Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational databases* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data findings in layman’s terms* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
