Job Description

Join ASML US Chief Data Office to develop and maintain enterprise data foundations and create impactful data visualizations using SAP HANA and Spotfire.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:
• Contribute to the development and improvement of data integration objects in SAP HANA containers.
• Assist in ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into HANA.
• Build interactive dashboards and visualizations in Spotfire to deliver actionable insights.
• Participate in all phases of the project life cycle from requirement gathering to testing and production deployment.
• Communicate results verbally and in writing.
• Assist in documenting data processes and best practices.
• Actively participate in Scrum and SAFe rituals and support the organization’s agile transformation.
• Document and present findings, including an end-of-summer presentation summarizing internship achievements.

About You

The company is looking for:
• Graduate student majoring in Computer Science, Data Analytics or Information Systems with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Must be currently in school.
• Knowledge of database management systems and data visualization tools.
• Curiosity about data and passion for uncovering insights from data sets.
• Familiarity with Spotfire, Tableau, or similar BI tools for visualization.
• Understanding of data impact analysis, software development practices, and data architecture concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database management systems.
• Basic knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, data modeling, and SQL.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• A proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Training & Development
• Interns will document and present their findings and deliver an end-of-summer presentation to the group.
• Active participation in Scrum and SAFe rituals supports continuous learning and agile development.
